University of Dayton Biology Department

Degree Requirements

The Environmental Biology degree consists of a rigorous curriculum which will fulfill all of the requirements for most programs of advanced study or for employment at the Bachelor of Science level.  A typical course of study for Years 1-4 is shown below.

Undergraduates are required to complete an internship and strongly encouraged to participate in faculty research programs.   In addition there is a capstone environmental instrumentation course which combines the application of formal coursework with hands-on instrumentation instruction to analyze environmental problems.
